Kauai Flooding – April 2018

Heavy rains led to flooding and landslides on the northernmost part of Kauai over the weekend of April 14-15. Here at Hanalei Bay Resort, we experienced some flood-related issues, but remain open following our clean-up.

While we are fortunate to report that the resort had minimal damage, it is because of the selfless efforts of our Family at the property that it was kept to a minimum.  But more importantly, we have those same people who are so close to us who have been displaced after losing their homes and vehicles, have had significant damage to their property in Hanalei and are grappling with major repairs and clean-up now that the floodwaters are receding.

With Grand Pacific Resorts’ assistance, we have set up a GoFundMe drive to help our HBR Family members who have been deeply impacted by the events of the past week. If you would like to help, we encourage you to make a donation.
