Mahalo for choosing Hanalei Bay Resort as your home-away-from-home and vacation destination! In our constant efforts to beautify and improve the Resort, we want to inform you of some of our current and upcoming projects.
Common Area (AOAO) Projects & Improvements
• The Spa heater is in need of repairs and the Spa is not currently heated as a result. While we do not have an estimated repair date at this time, we want to assure you that Management is working diligently with trusted third party vendors to ensure repairs are completed as timely as possible. Once we receive an estimated repair completion date, we will update as soon as possible.
• Tennis Court Resurfacing and Pickle Ball Conversion Project. Tennis Courts 7 & 8 to Pickle Ball Courts (lower beach path) are curing and will be striped in August; anticipated ready for play September 20th. Tennis Courts 3 & 4 (adjacent to the 3000 building) will be resurfaced in September and ready for play November 1st. Some noise can be anticipated during the resurfacing portion of the project.
• Roof Repair Project (9/9/24 to November) – The majority of property structures are included in the scope of this project. Please note the buildings/units not included in the direct scope of work are: Palms II (4000) building (Units 4121/4122; 4123/4124; 4221/4222; 4223/4224; 4321/4322; 4323/4324 only); both Ginger (6000) buildings; Banana (7000) building; Plumeria I (8000) building (Units 8101/8102; 8103/8104; 8201/8202; 8203/8204 only). However, all Owners & Guests staying on property during this project are kindly advised that there will be unavoidable construction noise for the duration of the project. The renovations may require scaffolding in certain areas, as well as lead to increased noise from construction equipment, sawing, and hammering in specific areas of the resort.
• Fumigation of Palms I Building in September (Building). (Owner & Guest Reservations are not impacted)
• Fumigation of Bamboo I (September) & II (December) Buildings (9000). (Owner & Guest Reservations are not impacted)
• Sidewalk & Walkway Repairs
• Lanai Railing Improvements
• Phone System Upgrades
• Roof Fascia Improvements
• Transformer Replacement
• Gas Grill Replacement
Timeshare (VOA) Interior Projects & Improvements
• Interior Painting (Owner & Guest Reservations are not impacted)
• Drapes, Lamp & Artwork Replacements
• Soft Goods Replacement
• Mirror Closet Door Replacement
• Appliance Replacement, as needed
The AOAO & VOA Boards have worked diligently with Management in the planning of these projects to minimize any inconvenience to Owners and Guests. While renovations should not adversely affect you, there may be some construction noise associated with common area improvements. As with all repair and renovation projects, it is our goal to adhere to the aforementioned schedules; however, they are subject to change.
