Beautiful resort of time share units with living rooms and kitchens. Gorgeous, large lagoon pool, grounds and stunning beach down a steep path or shuttle, where you can sit in the shade under a tree. Getting a beach chair is a bit wonky (from time share office) and the sundry/coffee shop has very erratic hours (in 3 visits during "open" hours, it never was). Ok restaurant (lovely surroundings) and pizza place, good north shore location near Hanalei restaurants and grocery store, but tricky route to find resort. A/c mini- splits in unit leave bathrooms very hot at times. Odd slope in floor leading to balconies, but units pretty well-equipped. Loved having two bathrooms in one-bedroom unit. Looked like good spot for families as well as couples.

This was our first stay at Hanalei Bay Resort, and it was a perfect location for our family. we enjoyed the studio condo, it had everything we needed and was located in a wonderful spot with a view of both ocean and pool! Some features we appreciated were the amenities like toaster, coffee maker, kettle (for hot water), plenty of soap and towels. The AC was much appreciated especially for our 1 year old sleeping comfortably at night. I wish we knew that the condo had beach items like chairs, umbrella, pack n play, etc. so we didn’t have to rent it from our car rental company/bring our own pack b play. but otherwise it was a wonderful stay and we are hopeful to come back with family for a longer stay!

Unbelievably beautiful resort. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the surrounding area.

Great resort nested in Princeville. Accessible to Hanalei town and a great place to use as an anchor for your trip to North Kauai.

The beach is a bit of a walk but still a cool walk. Our unit had unrivaled view of the mountains and sunset. Very cool beach with a reef and tons of sea life (including turtles) just feet from shore. The resort has two restaurants for dinner, a little coffee shop for breakfast, and tons of activities a short drive or walk away. The rooms are very noisy though, you’ll hear you’d upstairs and next door neighbors and all they do.

The resort is beautiful but has a lot of hills to walk anywhere but they offer golf cart services to get around which is awesome. The beach is perfect and gorgeous! The pizza place at the resort is delicious!

Great response to help requests!! Front desk courteous and knowledgeable. Wonderful facilities. We had trouble with the fire alarm, but it was replaced and all is well!!

Best view, pool, hot tub, and staff in Kauai. we’ve been coming here for almost 20 years since we spent our honeymoon here and happy to have upgraded our timeshare ownership to two weeks. This place is the best!
